Dvůr Králové nad Labem

The Tambor brewery continues the long tradition of beer brewing in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. During your stay with us you should definitely not miss a visit to it; in the brewery you will be taken through the factory and shown the beer brewing process. As part of the tour you’ll have the opportunity to taste the Dvůr Králové beer, and isn’t it worth it?

The brewery was established in 2009. Owner Nasik Kiriakovský made use of the fact that the land contains a 130-metre deep well with quality baby water.  The first batch of beer was brewed exactly 30 years to the day after the last one in the original Dvůr Králové brewery. The brewery gradually expanded, and in addition to cask beer it also began to offer bottled beer. It’s a modern operation, but it brews the beer using traditional methods. 

Since its establishment, the brewery has built a solid place among the competition, and not just in the region; today, you come across Tambor beer throughout the entire republic. This is partly due to several awards for the local unfiltered 11-degree beer, which received 2 golds and a bronze at Dočesná v Žatci, and a bronze at the Spring Brewers’ Prize 2012. The brewery also holds a Podkrkonoší Regional Product certificate. After complicated approval proceedings, the local beer is also included among kosher foodstuffs. 

Visitors can take a look around the brewery compound as part of a guided tour with a tasting of the local produce.
