Hrad Trosky, author: Zdeněk Fiedler, Wikipedia
Český ráj (Czech Paradise) is the largest protected area of countryside in the Czech Republic lies around 45km north-west from Dvůr Králové nad Labem.  The picturesque landscape between Turnov and Jičín is typical mainly by its main rock towns (Prachovské Skály, Hruboskalsko). However, it also offers visitors many other natural attractions, historical monuments (Trosky, Kost) and folk architecture. In the year 1955, the Czech Paradise was declared a protected area.

The entire area is criss-crossed with well-signposted tourist routes and cycle trails.
