A well-deserved rest is followed by a descent back down along the red tourist trail to Vyšehrad, and then across meadows to Bystřický Mlýn. We will continue along the red route to the village of Kal.
From Kal we continue right, past the cowshed, along an unmarked dirt road to the Bystřice stream valley, and past the renovated Vidonický Mlýn to the village of Vidonice. There we cycle onto a road on which we turn right, and after about 200 m uphill we continue to turn left along a dirt road, past a church. We ascend along the dirt road towards a forest (unmarked), until we come across the blue tourist trail. We follow it to the right, in the direction of Mostek. On the path before the gamekeeper’s cabin in the forest, we can admire as many as 50 forest ant anthills in one place.
We continue towards Mostek railway station, where we join the yellow tourist trail. We continue along it to the village of Přední Mostek, from where a descent awaits us into the Elbe valley, to the village of Debrné. Here we cross a road bridge to the left bank, and immediately after the bridge we continue steeply uphill along the yellow tourist trail. This is a very steep forest section of sunken lane, roughly 500 m long.
