Train station

The train station is located about 3 kilometres from the town centre. Public buses, which provide transport to almost every link, both in the direction of the train station and in the direction of the town, will help shorten your journey. You can buy your ticket directly from the driver, and it will cost you 12 CZK. MHD – Městská Hromadná Doprava [local public transport]

Connections provide transport throughout the entire town. You can buy the ticket directly from the driver, and it costs 12 CZK. Train station/town centre

Public buses provide transport to almost all train connections, in both directions. The “kostel” [church] stop is the closest one to the town centre.

Nemocnice [hospital]

Public transport to and form the hospital operates all day, at regular times.

Hřbitov [cemetery]

The line which operates to the hospital also continues to the cemetery.

Dvůr Králové Zoo

You can get to the zoological garden from the train station by bus no. 1. Transport in both directions is provided both in the morning and in the afternoon. You can find individual connection times at jizdnirady.idnes.cz/dvurkralove/spojeni/.

Parking in the town

A number of paid and unpaid parking areas are available. The price of parking is 5 CZK for 30 minutes. Time-limited free parking is valid with a parking disc for a period of 1 hour. The parking disc may be purchased in the Town Information Centre in Náměstí T. G. Masaryka 2 [T. G. Masaryk Square 2], in the reception of the Municipal Office in Náměstí T. G. Masaryka 38 [T. G. Masaryk Square 38], or in other selected locations.

The time limit for paid parking is determined as follows:

Monday - Friday: 8.00am – 6.00pm

Saturday: 9.00am - 1.00pm

Outside the afore-mentioned times, and on public holidays, parking for motorized road vehicles is free.

Where to park a bus or a caravan?

Municipal parking areas are not designed for such large vehicles. However, if you are visiting the town because of the zoological garden, you can avail of its parking areas.
